Don Cha Peruvian Food was born from a simple longing — the kind that only the flavors of home can satisfy. When Pedro and Mary first opened their doors in Fort Walton Beach in 2017, their dream was to share the soul of Peru with their new community, one plate at a time. What started as a small kitchen with big heart quickly became a local favorite, known for its bold flavors, generous portions, and the kind of hospitality that makes you feel like family.
Every dish we serve is a tribute to the traditions we grew up with — from the sizzle of lomo saltado to the citrusy brightness of fresh ceviche. We don’t just cook food; we tell stories. Stories of Sunday family meals, of bustling markets in Lima, of recipes passed down through generations.
As we’ve grown with a second location now open in Pensacola our mission remains the same: to create a space where everyone can experience the warmth, richness, and joy of Peruvian cuisine. Whether it’s your first taste or a familiar favorite, we’re honored to share our table with you.

With every dish, he shares the stories of his homeland, blending time-honored techniques with a deep love for hospitality. Pedro’s passion for cooking is rooted in family, fueled by culture, and inspired by the joy of seeing people connect over a great meal.
